His hobbies include watching high school and college football, golf, turkey hunting, and riding motorcycles. His philosophy of preaching is taken from Oswald Chambers classic My Utmost For His Highest, “Preach the word, preach it in its undiluted sternness. Their must be unflinching loyalty to the Word of God. But when you come to dealing with your fellow man remember who you are, not a special being made in heaven, but a sinner saved by grace.” His favorite verse is Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
